On the list of the UNESCO World Heritage (quote): "Seat of supreme power for over five centuries (1416-1911), the Forbidden City in Beijing, with its landscaped gardens and many buildings (whose nearly 10,000 rooms contain furniture and works of art), constitutes a priceless testimony to Chinese civilization during the Ming and Qing dynasties" Recorded October 2015 in 4K (Ultra HD) with Sony AX100. This is a first hand look at the Beijing skyline from the high speed train. I took an amazing trip to Beijing, China last year. Among the incredible sights I saw ranging from inspiring to disturbing, was the state of the air in the city when we arrived. As luck would have it, the very next day it rained in the morning, and the haze disappeared! You can clearly see the difference in the video as we exit the city days later. Amazing and sad all at the same time.

With its trees, shrubs and rocks, the city flat, in the densely packed district of Haidian, looks more like a mountain-top home. Newspaper reports say other residents in the tower block have long complained that the villa complex - built over 6 years - has damaged pipes and the structural integrity of the building. Officials have given the owner 15 days to take it down.
